Oh yeah - other changes

So yesterday was the World Cup.  Germany won!  If it couldn't be the US, I was rooting for Germany.

Yesterday, was my last drink.  Okay, not really, but a major cutback.  I decided that I was drinking way too much and it was time to tame that beast.  I'm not an alcoholic, but I know that I was engaging in too much libation.

So, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, no drinking at all.  After the initial dry-out, sort of like stopping caffeine, I felt good.

My husband was leaving for the weekend and talked me into going out Thursday evening.  Not a problem, I had 2 beers.  Did I say I was way over indulging in too much liquor, yeah, that's what I really wanted to get away from.  My favorites are cinnamon vodka and jaeger.



2 beers, that's it.  No shots, no mixed drinks, just beer.

Skip ahead to today and I think in the last 2 weeks, I have had 5 (out of 13) days that I actually went out.  And only drank beer!  I think that is a major improvement.  Just think of all that sugar I cut out of my diet.  I'm patting myself on the back, I deserve it.  Sometimes you need that pat on the back to keep you going.



I think that is an awesome bad habit to cut out of my diet, don't you?
